"Killin' Time II" 12/12/2002

Killing time is an art form. Since I may be a little busy next week, I decided to work on my art today. I began at 5:50 with a nice 30 minute jog on the banana roads north of South Rivers. I run that early because it is still nice and cool then. I can't stand to run when it is hot out. After that, some pull-ups and push-ups. Next, some laundry and cleaning of the kitchen. This was followed by some CNN watching till I got sleepy and took a nap untill noon. After that I read a book till about 3. Somewhere in there I helped my neighbor program the remote control for his TV. That counts as my computer teaching session for the day. At 3:00 I took a pile of NIT computer course applications and walked over to Byera and just walked up to people and asked if they were interested. I quickly ran out of applications. After that I took a walk down the beach to Colonarie (picture). It could be an amazing beach if it weren't for all the trash. On the way I spent some time pondering the ocean waves. From Colonarie I took a van back to South Rivers, had some dinner, and now here I am. Once you get used to it, full-time messing around can be pretty darn fun. I hope that I can continue to enjoy lots of free time, but not too much!
