"Guava Season" 09/13/2003 Some people would say that it is Hurricane Season. I say that it is Guava Season. How about Hurricane of Guavas Season as a comprimise. I have these two little guava trees in my back yard. In the past few weeks they have put out an amazing amount of fruit. I have collected about one big bowl full of them every day. Good thing I like guavas. My neighbour also makes good guava jam, so I give most of them to her. My breadfruit tree is also bearing, and the orange tree is about ready. The plumrose tree started to bloom again too. Looks like I won't have to go to the grocery store any time soon. In St. Vincent you can be homeless, unemployed, and not have a dollar to your name but you will never go hungry.
