"Montreal Gardens" 7/25/2004 My list of things to do before I go home is getting smaller. Yesterday I went to the Montreal Gardens. These gardens are on an old estate high above the Mesopotamia valley. I was very impressed by the place. Walkways take you through groves of tropical trees, fields of flowers, and along a mountain stream. There are even rain shelters along the way. Another nice thing was that we were free to wander around without someone trying to be our tour guide. These gardens show the beauty and potential that St. Vincent has. Those things are very much lost when you spend most of your time in the towns and villages which are so noisy, polluted and dirty.
