It was indeed a happy birthday. The South Rivers Methodist School staff.

"Surprise" 06/19/2003 This Tuesday I had a "meeting" at the school. I made sure to be prepared. I had handouts ready and everything. The meeting wasn't what I expected though. It turned out to be a surprise birthday party. I've never had such a nice thing happen to me. Having struggled a little bit with homesickness from Mom and Dad's visit it was just the thing I needed to realize that I do have a place here. Well, I guess that I'll never be 23 again. That's cool though, because 24 is off to a really good start.
