"Cricket" 5/15/2004 Today I went to see my first cricket match. The West Indies were playing Bangladesh at the cricket stadium here on St. Vincent. Cricket is a very interesting sport, and is the most popular one here. I don't really understand the rules very well, but I am about 80% sure that West Indies won. I had a difficult time figuring out how things were going because Vincentians cheer like crazy when anything happens, good or bad for their team. Cricket is also a very long sport, the match today took about 7 hours, and there is another one tomorrow. The time cricket takes isn't too much of an issue because it is more a social event than just sitting in the stands watching.
