"La Soufriere x 10" 5/12/2004 This past weekend I climbed the volcano for my 10th time. This time I had quite a bit of company. Matt, a volunteer from the other side of the island, and I were hiking over the volcano to the villag of Chateau. A group of students from my school was also going up the volcano. We all had a great time. Many of the children had never been up the volcano before, so it was a good experience for them. After hiking over the volcano I stayed in Chateau and got to do a little swimming in the Caribbean and saw a good sunset. I don't get to do either of those very much on my side of the island. It seems like every day is going by faster. Next week I go to my Close of Service conference. It will be nice to see all the people that I went through training with almost two years ago.
